The death of Christ is at the very heart of Christianity. Christians don’t regard Jesus’ death as an embarrassing failure. They see it as an integral part of God’s plan for the Universe. But at first sight it really makes very little sense. How could the death of a man 2,000 years ago achieve anything for young people living in the 21st Century?
