I had the opportunity to talk to Don Mamone, the creator of the People First Then Profit Movement.

Don is a business consultant, keynote speaker, and professional photographer with a specialty in helping creative and hospitality businesses grow, refine and scale their services. He genuinely wants to know how he can help you reach your goals!

Prior to becoming a photographer, Don worked for one of the world’s biggest hotel chains. Loving the hospitality industry and how it allowed him to bestow the very best service upon his clients he was suddenly let go, overnight, when the project he was working on suddenly disappeared.

Even though he had been practicing corporate event photography as a part-time passion, he never thought he was ready to go full time. This changed everything. He suddenly had to make some life-changing decisions. to either commit 100% to photography or to hunt for a new corporate job. He chose to hustle.

Before he knew it business was booming and without the need for expensive advertising. How did he do it? He did what he knew best, he built relationships.

Don shares with us the beginnings of his photography career and how Relationship Marketing helped him make the leap to go all-in on his photography business. And then pivoting again in 2020 when the industry was put on hold due to the pandemic to start the People First Then Profit Movement and teaching people the power of true relationships.
