My guest today is James Chisolm of Meschi Consultants.

James is an accountant, but one who runs his own firm having come from the world of business, not from an accountancy practice.

James’s specialism is working with MLM (multi level marketing) businesses, but he works with many micro businesses not in that sector.  We talk about what you get for his entry level price of £15/month, and why you might want to pay him more than that, to do more.

And for those not yet ready to use an accountant as they’d rather do their numbers themselves, James talks about how to do that in a way that makes it easier to hand over to an accountant if and when that day does come.

Meschi Consultants is aimed at businesses that have lost control of the numbers – you have no idea how much money you’re making, or how.  They work with you to set your accounts up such you can look at the numbers and work out where you are.  That involves having procedures in place and making sure you don’t get behind.

A quote from a client probably sums them up best: "Meschi Consultants have a refreshing approach to finance. They are pragmatic, hands-on and inspire real confidence in their ability to sort out systems and get to the heart of your business needs."
