Healing, Advocacy, and Activism with Andrea Vocab Sanderson

Andrea is a San Antonio native and the first Black Poet Laureate of San Antonio, 2020-2023. Her dynamic style is a fusion of poetry, hip-hop, and R&B. She is an award-winning poet and a teaching artist who enjoys facilitating workshops nationwide.

Andrea will discuss the therapeutic and recreational uses of creative writing and self-expression thru teaching. She'll also share about being a laureate and her previous job.
