As the group reaches the town, they help defend a section of the wall that is attacked by orcs on flying mounts. They clear the wall to see the other orcs burning the town with alchemist's fire from above and heading for the Western Gate and the Barren Lord's house. The party decides to go to the western gate to defend the city from being opened.
