This week we take a deep dive into lovely Autumn through the lens of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and Yin Yoga. Autumn is associated with the Metal Element, the meridians of the Lung & Large Intestine, dryness, the colour white, spicy taste, and the emotion of grief & discernment. We discuss the common themes that come up during this time of year and how to support ourselves through this season of change and letting go.Turning to the teachings of the breath and nature's falling leaves to guide us through this transitional season of slowing down, shedding, and taking stock as the yang retreats deeper within.
