Kathy Fernandez has been an educator for 20 years.  She has a Masters in Education in the area of Teaching and Learning, which is her passion.  She has been a classroom teacher, special education teacher, teacher of English language learners, mentor and curriculum, and course writer for educators.  She founded KEZ Education with a mission to work with teachers in reducing their overwhelm and workload by prompting them to reflect on their practice, use their time to prioritize what’s important, and grow as professionals.  All of this is framed around being reflective, understanding that all students are capable of learning and that relationships matter.  Currently, this is being done through the creation of the Guided Teacher Planner.  More than just an organizational tool, the Guided Teacher Planner helps overwhelmed teachers use their time to focus on what’s important, prompting them to reflect on their practice to meet the needs of their students so they can feel organized and have more time for themselves.
