A graduate of Temple University and the University of Pennsylvania, Andrea began her tenure as a classroom teacher in the School District of Philadelphia. After years teaching in the Kensington neighborhood of Philadelphia, she transitioned to serve as founding teacher- and later assistant principal of instruction- at a comprehensive high school turnaround in North Philadelphia.

As veteran educational leader, Andrea combines strong humanities content knowledge, standards-driven approach, and instructional coaching practices to achieve breakthrough results. In addition, Andrea is deeply committed to culturally responsive pedagogy, which informs her approach to teacher and leadership training.

Andrea serves as founder and Senior Consultant with ILM Consulting Group. She is proud to serve alongside a team of highly-skilled educators that train teachers and leaders both nationally and overseas.
