Amber Ravenscroft (@ambravenscroft) - How To Integrate Entrepreneurship Within The Core K12 Curriculum

Amber Ravenscroft is the Manager of Innovation for the EdVenture Group. With an eye for design, Amber began her career at the organization as a marketing intern. She quickly found her passion in K-12 educational programming and today brings STEM innovation and entrepreneurship education to the forefront of The EdVenture Group’s professional offerings.

Amber’s work at The EdVenture Group has led to many impactful programs. Amber manages and delivers teacher professional development for the nationally-recognized America’s Entrepreneurial Schools and Colleges initiative in partnership with The National Consortium for Entrepreneurship Education (EntreEd), a program that has impacted over 40,000 Appalachian students in two years. In 2016, Amber’s passion led to The EdVenture Group becoming one of only 29 internationally-awarded Google RISE organizations for the CS EdVenture program. In 2018, Amber was a featured breakout speaker that the National Title I Conference in Philadelphia, PA, where she spoke of the organization’s work on female students in STEM and CS. Her passion and zeal for K-12 innovation has led to nearly $2.5 million in grant funding and impacted thousands of students and teachers in her three-year career with the organization.

Amber earned her B.S. in Strategic Communications from West Virginia University in 2015. Dedicated to continual learning and growth, she will be a graduate of the 2019 Master of Education Entrepreneurship program at University of Pennsylvania, the first and only program in the United States with this discipline. Amber is committed to the mission of The EdVenture Group, driving innovation into education, to ignite and inspire young minds today for a brighter future tomorrow.
