Are some rappers basically black mental illness on display?

Today, Dr Alicia and I explore the unspoken topic of black rappers and mental illness.  It is our belief that many artists are selected by mainstream media for mass promotion largely because they display dysfunction that is the result of undiagnosed mental illness.
