Philip Moss grew up in a small midwestern ultra conservative farming community and Reformed Church tradition, after which he attended a conservative Christian College and then spent 7 years with the Campus Crusade for Christ (cult) as a basketball player for Athletes In Action, prior to obtaining his master's degree in counseling/psychology at a Southern Baptist Seminary in Denver. 

Then, within one year, Phil left religion and the church. In his own words, he has been in a 'deconstruction mode" for the last 32 years. 
Phil has been a licensed professional counselor/therapist and administrator for over 30 years and is currently transitioning to a focus on religious deconstruction and spiritual healing. He is a certified guided meditation facilitator and uses meditation, mindfulness, cognitive mindfulness, and inner child healing to support his clients.
