In this episode, I interview Phil Morle - partner at Main Sequence Ventures. Phil is a prominent name in the venture capital ecosystem who's well known for co-founding Australia's first start-up incubator - Pollenizer. From its foundation in 2008, Pollenizer went on to help hundreds of ideas turn into real businesses including Spreets which was founded and sold within 12 months for $40 million.
Throughout this episode, Phil discusses how he transitioned from high paying big tech to risking it all and working for himself in the VC space - at a time when the startup ecosystem barely existed. It was very inspiring to hear Phil's dedication for solving some of societies' most difficult challenges with a focus on hard science.
