Let me clear… VR will never replace a real life experience a customer can take part in. If it did I would lose all faith in humanity.
However, just like video is an amazing marketing tool, VR will become just as important.
I would say VR is about 5 years away from being mainstream but that does not mean you should wait that long. Experiment how VR can be integrated into your products and how it can be used to promote an experience.
Adding 360 videos to your website and marketing can bring a bit of excitement to your customers and if you get in this space first, you can become a leader in your industry.
