Gaslighting has become an urbanised term in our society. Anytime somebody lies or misleads the truth we accuse them of gaslighting us. But what does the term actually mean and where does it come from?
By introducing it as a term in our everyday language are we trivialising the experience of people who have been gaslit by their abusers?
