It's our first ever guest episode and we have the gorgeous human Nina Zeiler discussing invisible disabilities and ableism.

Not all disabilities are visible; the symptoms that people experience can fluctuate and yes, young people can be disabled too. We live in a society where those of us who are able-bodied don't see the world of disability beyond the wheelchair symbol, we're surprised when a person we know who appears young and healthy to our eyes explains that they have a disability. Because we can't see it we react with 'but you look so healthy', 'but you're so young', 'but you don't look disabled'.

What does it actually mean to 'look disabled'?
