“You should define what you want your success to be, and just know what you want to achieve in life and go for it. Just make it happen.” – Shalyce Lawrence

In this episode, you’ll hear about:

My guest, and the inspiring story of how she defied the negative expectations set on her future achievements as a child in care, graduating at university and finding a way to actively support and encourage care leavers.

Shalyce Lawrence is one of the founders of The Tope Project, a volunteer- run project that helps creating a network of care-experienced young people, promoting free events throughout the year, especially for Christmas. The project is named after a 23-year-old care leaver who took his own life in 2010.

Guest: Shalyce Lawrence Hosted By: Kitty Waters
