The prophet Ibrahim AS in a nutshell ⬇️ 🤍
Ibn Abbas (RA) narrated that the Prophet (ﷺ) said:
“The first person to be clothed on the Day of Resurrection will be Ibrahim (AS).”
• Surah Al-Baqarah (2:260): “And [mention] when Ibrahim said, ‘My Lord, show me how You give life to the dead.’ [Allah] said, ‘Have you not believed?’ He said, ‘Yes, but [I ask] only that my heart may be satisfied.’”
This verse does not indicate a lack of faith but rather a desire for deeper certainty (yaqeen). It shows that even prophets seek an increase in iman.
• Surah An-Nahl (16:120-121):
“Indeed, Ibrahim was a nation, devoutly obedient to Allah, inclining toward truth, and he was not of those who associate others with Allah. He was grateful for His favors. Allah chose him and guided him to a straight path.”
