Gary Gold is one of the true legendary characters in the residential real estate world in Los Angeles. He was the man behind putting the complicated deal together to sell the playboy mansion for $100M to Darren Metropoulos, the young entrepreneur behind many iconic brands like Hostess, Pabst Brewing Company, Blue Triton, Mumm and Perrier Jouet among others, while Hugh Heffner was allowed to live in the home until his death. He also sold the Chartwell Estate for $150M and the Hearst Estate for $63.1M and has seen it all, and done it all. He was the first agent hired by Jeff Hyland at Hilton and Hyland and remained very close to Jeff until his death last year.
