Henry Koperski Unleashes the Magic Elf Lord

As a pianist and composer, Henry Koperski has shared the stage with Alan Cumming, Matteo Lane and Catherine Cohen, and now he's striking out on his own. Koperski hits Joe's Pub with two legendary shows in October: The fantastical solo show Magic Elf Lord, on October 10; and Spirit Night on October 21st, featuring co-host Larry Owens and a performance by your dear Luminaries host. Before his big month begins, Henry and David hold an Erev Rosh Hashanah review of our favorite things: Psychedelics, Star Wars, Club Cumming and higher dimensions. We talk about Henry's recent performance with Chita Rivera; our favorite memories from his weekly show Cabernet Cabaret, with Catherine Cohen; and how we've both developed over the years.
