THE RESIDUAL AFFECTS OF GANG VIOLENCE (PRODUCED BY GIGI PETTWAY)

This week Dr. Asbery and "Coach Bruce Trammell sit down with former gang member and now community activist and candidate for Senate, Dr. Josiah Israel.  Dr. Israel talks about his life as a gang member and how devastating it is to live through the aftermath of gang violence.  In addition, Dr. Asbery talks to a mother (Wanda) who had to make one of the hardest decisions of her life.  She had to let her son go...to the streets.  His decision, not hers.  Thankfully, her son found his way back.  Unfortunately, many of our kids are not so lucky.  These stories are important in that they will help parents to understand what needs to be done when dealing with our youth's infatuation with gang life, street life, and all the bad that comes with it. What a powerful show.
