This was a real treat for me. I got to interview Rich over Zoom during lockdown and it was great to talk to him about how he got in to the drums and the journey to becoming, in my opinion, a true innovator of the instrument. Rich is genuinely pushing boundaries on the drum kit and he talks about how he thinks the drum kit will evolve in the future. Also, his commitment to understanding how to play and voice polyrhythms on the drumkit is pretty remarkable. Sit back and enjoy this episode.
