Johnny Tama is the first Ecuadorian tape black  to win  a Jiu Jitsu World Cup.

In recent years he won the Worlds No GI (IBJJF 2019), World No Gi (SJJIF 2018), Worlds (2018 SJJIF), NY Spring Open No GI (ibjjf 2019), NY Spring Open (IBJF 2018 ) and the list goes on... Juan Iturralde student and member of Alliance, today he trains, lectures and competes in California USA .
