🫀 “The Lord does not look at the things people look at. People look at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.” (1 Samuel 16:7)
How often do we make snap judgments about people—based on their tone, their actions, or even just their facial expressions? We assume we know their story, their intentions, or their struggles. But today, we’re being challenged to pause and look deeper. To stop seeing just what’s visible and start seeing with love, grace, and understanding—just like God does.
✅ Why first impressions can be misleading
✅ How God sees beyond our flaws and failures—and calls us to do the same
✅ The power of compassion over judgment
✅ How looking deeper at others transforms our own hearts
1️⃣ When was the last time I made a quick judgment about someone without really knowing them?
2️⃣ How can I train myself to see others the way God does—with love and grace?
3️⃣ Who in my life might be hurting beneath the surface, and how can I show them compassion?
✔️ Pause Before Judging – When you catch yourself making an assumption, ask: What if there’s more to their story?
✔️ Lead with Curiosity, Not Criticism – Instead of assuming, ask questions. Show genuine interest in others’ lives.
✔️ Pray for Deeper Vision – Ask God to help you see people as He sees them—not just by their actions, but by their heart.
