Should the voting age be 16?

New Zealand’s Supreme Court has found the voting age of 18 conflicts with the country’s age discrimination laws. Now it’s up to the Parliament to decide whether 16 and 17 year olds should have the right to vote. Meanwhile, here in Australia, Independent Dr Monique Ryan and the Greens have said they’ll renew a push to lower the voting age too.
