His PhD was on heart rate variability—at a time before most people had heard of it. His post-doctorate work continued in this vein—focusing on bio-signals and meta-science research. Now, as the Chief Scientific Officer for Cipher Skin, he helps elite athletes and other high performers collect real-time feedback on position, movement, and recovery.
