Dr. Greyson is the Chester Carlson Professor Emeritus of Psychiatry and Neurobehavioral Sciences at the University of Virginia.  He was previously on the medical faculty at the University of Michigan and the University of Connecticut, where he was Clinical Chief of Psychiatry. For many of us, the question of whether or not consciousness survives bodily death is one of, if not the most important question one could ask. Dr. Greyson goes into great detail discussing captivating experiences from many patients he came into contact with, as well as the profound effects NDE's have on the experiencer's life.
