#86 | Shut Up And Listen

Parenting is not an easy job. There is a reason there aren’t manuals for this. Every child is different and every household has their own values and ideals. One of the simplest, yet hardest, tasks is listening to your children. Especially at a young age its easy to just dismiss them and what they are saying. But when those thoughts com into your head try and empathize with them. Try and think what it feels like when someone doesn’t listen to you, or someone tells you to be quiet. Our children aren’t alway able to tell us their feelings, so we have to do even more to listen and really pay attention to hat they are trying to tell us. As we discuss very frequently on this podcast, you need to sacrifice for your kids, and not the other way around.  Listen to your children, and pay attention to what they are saying, and show up daily.
