"The world is benefitting from the selling of an industry hooked on selling. The word 'hooked' has a negative connotation because it implies that someone is addicted. So does the word drug, which is on the front of the book. I had to balance my ethics between the use of these words in accurately describing the point I am making and the character traits I share throughout this book. The truth is, negative connotation or not, these are the right words to describe our behaviors, including mine, for the better part of most of my career. These are the proper words to describe the best in class I have born witness to who survived bad markets and difficult times and yet prevail again and again."
