"'Bed Head' is the title of this chapter because I believe this is where we are close to our souls, our hearts and mind, and our spiritual vision. The release of the day found in our beds is where our souls take flight, where we heal our brokenness, and where we retreat to safety. To this day, if I am sad, hurting, or sick I retreat to my bed to rest, to contemplate, and to escape. Bed: the place where the vision of my most significant accomplishments were born." - Christine Beckwith
Christine Beckwith is the founder of 20/20 Vision for Success and the author of Finding Honor: The Journey to Truth and if you've been following along with this series then it should come as no surprise that we are discussing chapter seven of Christine's book entitled "Bed Head". Christine takes Jay through her thought-process on writing this chapter, where the inspiration came from, and why this chapter has so much significance. Lying in bed can be a place where your most significant thoughts take place, both good and bad, when you are unencumbered by anything but your sheets and pillows. While not the lightest chapter of the book, "Bed Head" provides some real insight into some heavy thoughts and feelings.
