How does it feel? To be here with us. Listening to the podcast. Like a complete unknown. Like a rolling stone. Spoiler: it feels fine. Oh and another spoiler: this episode is FULL OF SPOILERS! Lol. Our bad.

James Mangold did it and he’s here! It’s been a long time in the making but our next live special is finally here. Another edition in the award-winning and critically-acclaimed HANG OUT WITH THE BOYS DURING A DAY OUT IN LONDON series after you accompanied us to the 02 to see The Black Keys the year before last.

Now we’re all watching the Bob Dylan biopic A Complete Unknown together. As a big ol’ appraisal hour family. Can you believe it? Can you believe that, from Jeffrey’s consternation at the casting and Christopher’s trolling-accentuated enthusiasm a year or so ago, and up to the recent role reversal, and all the way to right outside the doors of the world famous Leicester Square Odeon, ready to rock and/or roll.

Don’t forget the recent Rough and Rowdy Ways review episode, which was basically an excuse for reviewing seeing him live together for the first time!

And not only does the story cover the last year or so, ladies and gentlemen. Inside this episode, we are spiritually echoing the real beginning of the story, way back when *title card with dramatic sound effect on a black screen: early 2000s* little Jeffrey and little Christopher (they were once the same height you know … when Jeffrey was 15 and Christopher was 7 maybe lol) were first getting back into Bob Dylan. Watching No Direction Home on terrestrial television. Learning how to fingerpick on the guitar and play Girl From The North Country. Texting each other on the ol’ Nokia 3210s you know.

Honestly. We do it all on this episode! The Chiltern line … the Metropolitan line … near Regent’s Park … a random coffee shop Kyle Chayka would write reams and reams of material on … that’s about it really. Enjoy. Watch the movie. Listen to the episode. Consume the content you consume mindfully. Process creatively. Win the nobel prize. Don’t attend the ceremony. Peace.
