Croydon, the London borough that’s long been the butt of so many jokes, is getting its first literary festival. Don’t laugh. On Saturday 9 September 2017, at the David Lean Cinema, a selection of quirky sessions will explore aspects of life in Croydon, as well as author discussions and a session on writing.
