Embracing All Parts Of Yourself with Jude Perl

I had the absolute pleasure of chatting with the extremely talented, funny, intelligent and down-to-earth Comedian, Musician & Artist - Jude Perl.
We reminisced and had a good laugh about the school we both went to and had so many moments of shared understanding of all the parts that live inside us and the ups and downs of life as a performer creating your own shows.

• How to not letting other people's opinions and voices get to you as a performer
• the ups and downs of creating solo shows
• the journey of embracing all parts and voices inside of you
• how to find peace with your inner critic 
• letting go of the identity of being a performer and self acceptance 

About Jude:
Jude Perl is a multi-award-winning singer, songwriter and comedian based in Melbourne. In her hometown, she has created a name for herself by writing and performing hilarious, yet brutally honest, stream-of-consciousness-style lyrics, set to undeniably catchy and well-crafted songs.

In 2015, Jude performed her first hour long solo comedy show ‘Is It Just Me?’ for the Melbourne International Comedy Festival. Her season sold out and 3 extra shows were added due to popular demand. Her first 4 solo shows won 3 consecutive Green Room Awards for Best Original Songs (2 shows were in one year, hence the weird math).

In 2016, several of Jude’s songs were featured in the internationally acclaimed documentary ‘Embrace’ from activist and Body Image Movement founder Taryn Brumfitt, including a track that was written specifically for the film, which you can listen to here
