Live With Carl Wockner At Bands At The Barn

In this BONUS podcast, Australian musician, looper, and singer-songwriter Carl Wockner plays in Nashville at a private monthly event called Bands In The Barn. Hosted by David Billings and Susan Whitaker, the event showcases talented local Nashville singer-songwriters and allows them to share their own music with a large private crowd at the barn. This event started in early 2021 and is intended to honor these very talented artists in support of their own music rather than the covers so many of them have to play around town to make a living.

This live podcast is the Bonus material from Carl Wockner's artist interview episode on The Creative Push. It opens with David Billings explaining how he decided to use an old hay barn to support local musicians and then lets Carl take over the stage, performing original songs for over an hour. Carl moved to Nashville in 2016 with his wife and two kids to grow his musical career. He is an Australian artist with accolades that include Top Honors at the 2015 International Acoustic Music Awards for the release of his album Crayon Days as well as Best Soloist by Scope Magazine. His first two singles gained national radio play on the Billboard Charts both in the US and in the UK. In 2016, Better received a nomination for Best Adult Contemporary Album in the Independent Music Awards. He was recently awarded Musician Of The Year 20/21 for the QLD Prestige awards.
