Today we’re going to be sharing takeaways and findings from Collectively’s latest Influencer Report. We’ll also be sharing our experiences with these trends and the direction of the influencer industry. So you’ll hear some findings but you’ll also hear our opinions of the industry.

What is Collectively?
Collectively is a social influence company. They launch influencer platforms with Fortune 100 companies. You can apply to be a part of their influencer network. Collectively will email creators and invite them to apply for campaigns.

What is “Social Influencer in a Changing World"?
It’s a publication put together by Collectively for marketers, creators, and industry stakeholders looking to learn pivotal marketing trends from 2020. The publication tapped on 385 participants with an average of 131,000 fans, mix of nano, micro, mid-tier, and macro influencers. Collectively also worked with 26 senior marketers across 15 industries to put this report together.

Key Takeaway #1: Values matter more than ever
On the influencer industry side, commitment to diversity, inclusion, and pay equity in casting became even more important. The Collectively report stated:

·      65% of creators believe that systemic racism is a problem in the industry

·      21% of creators believe that brands are doing enough to be inclusive

·      100% of marketers said they’re willing to commit contracting creators from under-represented communities for at least 50% of their casts
