Whether you’re creating content as a side-hustle or as a full-time career, it’s important to take time off from work and social media. Today, we’re discussing 5 main reasons why scheduling time off is a great idea. If you’re listening to this and feeling burnt out, this podcast episode is for you.

Before we jump into today’s reasons on why should schedule time off work and social media, we want to share a few major signs you need a break:

·      If you’re having a hard time concentrating

·      If you’re getting sick more often or experiencing physical symptoms like headaches or stomachaches 

·      If you’re feeling frustrated, a lack of energy, or lack motivation

·      If you’re feeling unfocused

These are all signs you might need a break.

Reason 1: You need a mental reset.

Whether it’s one weekend, one day, or one week off, we advocate scheduling time off ahead of time give yourself time to reset mentally. Don’t wait until your body breaks out in hives or your next anxiety attack to finally take time off.

You have to give your brain a break. Your brain needs time downtime. Our brains are like sponges and can only soak up so much information at one time.
