This week we are continuing our series on Creative Identity. We are laying the ground work for another round of guests in the next few weeks as we finish up our series. We are hitting two topics giving our selves permission to play and growing through a creative rut.

Creative Rut topics and questions to ask yourself:
1. What does a rut feel like? When I was in a rut before what was happening around me, to me, in my creative space?
2. Are the things we are doing, do they still bring us joy?
3. How do we problem solve to pivot and turn our rut into a pebble instead of a boulder?
4. What is the difference between a rut and burnout? what are the signs for both?
5. Are we giving ourselves grace during slower or less productive times? Are we comparing others journeys to ours?
6. How can you change your mindset about your preconcieved thoughts about yourself and your art/creations?
7.Has your why or your season changed?
8. How does growth look like in your life? in your creative space?
9. Growth can often look messy in the beginning stage- but the overall process should still spark joy!
10. Growth doesn't always look the same- this is where grace for yourself and others comes in.
11. Just because you know or found your style doesn't mean you don't need to grow- what does that look like for you?
12. Ask yourself when you don't love a project/creation- why? dig deep into what your learned through that process and what you can do to pivot and grow.
13. Why is it important for you to like all your art/creations? Is that a realistic expectation?
14. Why are ugly pages/creations important?
15. USe Curiosity as a tool
16. Challenge yourself and use the what if mindset when in your craftspace!!
17. Use Gratitude and grace in your space!!
