Redefining Wealth

This past year, I embarked on a journey that unraveled my own story around money. For years, I prided myself on financial stability. My family made intentional choices that allowed us to live comfortably, save diligently, and dream boldly. 

But life has a way of humbling us. Moving to Montana, where we found ourselves in a significantly lower income bracket than we’d been in a decade, forced me to confront an unexpected scarcity mindset. Despite my years as a financial coach, I realized I needed to become my own client—to dive into my beliefs and uncover the roots of my financial fears.

What I discovered is that wealth isn't just financial security. True wealth is a quiet morning, meaningful conversations, rest without guilt, and the freedom to live in alignment with your core values. It’s about the legacy we leave—not just in our bank accounts but in how we show up for the world, our families, and ourselves. Reflecting on this, I realized I am wealthier now, in this season of financial modesty, than I’ve ever been. Why? Because I am choosing joy, authenticity, and courage over fear. I’m choosing to invest in my health, my relationships, and my purpose—creating a legacy rooted in light and connection.

So, as we navigate this year, I challenge you to redefine your wealth. Ask yourself: What part of your wealth portfolio needs attention? Is it your time, your energy, or your joy? Let’s embrace the idea that abundance comes not just from what we have, but from how we live. Let’s step forward, not with fear, but with courage—leaving behind the noise of societal expectations and embracing the beauty of our unique journey.
