Aligning Core Values with Intentions for 2025

As we step into a new year, the buzz of resolutions and goals fills the air—new plans, fresh starts, and big dreams. But before diving in, I challenge you to pause and reflect: Do these goals align with your core values? Because if they don’t resonate deeply with who you are at your core, chances are, they won’t stick. Authenticity isn’t just a buzzword; it’s a guidepost. And in 2025, aligning your intentions with your true self is where the magic begins.

Think about it: Why do we measure success by someone else’s standards? Whether it’s a specific income level, a dress size, or even parenting benchmarks, we often find ourselves chasing goals that don’t truly serve us. Instead, what if we asked, Why am I doing this? Whether it’s saving money, improving health, or paying off debt, your “why” has to be rooted in meaning. Without that, it’s just another task. For me, 2024 was a journey of stepping completely into just this! What is my why!

So as you set intentions for 2025, don’t just create goals—create ones that align with the light within you. Your values might change, and that’s okay. Change is part of growth. Whether you’re climbing a literal mountain or tackling life’s figurative peaks and valleys, remember: every step counts. When you align your goals with your true self, the journey becomes as rewarding as the summit view. Let this be the year you step fully into your purpose, unapologetically and authentically. You’re worth it.
