They That Hunger and Thirst

Galatians 5: 22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, and self-control. Against such things there is no law

There was no law against Adam eating good fruit. The fact of the matter is; Satan convinced Adam that God's intention toward him were not good toward him. That's basically another way to define doubt, fear and a lack of faith. People who doubt God are those who lack faith.
They think God is looking to punish them for their sins.  
In the Garden of Eden, Satan convinced Adam and Eve that God was withholding hHis best from them  &  when in fact God had already given them His best, His image, His likeness and an abundance of good of blessings and good fruit from any tree of the garden. 
Also, keep in mind,  the Tree of Life was there in the middle of the garden and There is no law against eating fruit from the Tree of Life for Jesus is the Tree of Life.
