Pentecost means 50th and It relates to the fact that 

50 days after God brought Israel out of Egypt—they arrived at Mt Sinai and camped before the mountain of the Lord. It’s no coincidence that 50 days after Jesus’ resurrection—the very day Jews we're remembering the events of Mount Sinai, came the outpouring of the Holy Spirit on those 120 disciples as tongues of fire 

Pentecost is referred to as the birthday of the church. It marks the day the holy spirit descended upon the apostles and other disciples, empowering them to begin proclaiming the gospel and transforming their lives, thus igniting the church's mission. Those 120 who were in the upper room were baptized in the Holy Spirit. So what is The Baptism in the Holy Spirit?
