1 Corinthians 3:7  
 So neither he who plants nor he who waters is anything,
 but only God, who makes things grow.

When We're Discussing Growth, We're Referring To Spiritual Growth.

The First Principle Of Spiritual Growth Is Simply That Spiritual Growth Takes Time! It Will Take Time For God To Grow And Nurture A Believer And He Will Use All The Experiences Of Life To Do It. 

However, If We Are To Mature, We Must Be Involved In God’s Training. In Other Words, Spiritual Growth Will Never Happen “On Accident.” Growing In The Things Of God Has To Happen On Purpose.
