The Other Side of the Storm

Mark 5:1-20 Then they came to the other side of the sea, to the country of the Gadarenes. And when He had come out of the boat, immediately there met Him out of the tombs a man with an unclean spirit,
 
The devil will bring storms to distract us, take our focus off God, rob us of our hope, trust and faith in god, to steal our dreams and ultimately to destroy God’s plans for our life.
God will use storms  to help us regain our focus on him, seek refuge under his protection, to remember that He alone is our strong tower and place of safety and prompts us to seek out His purpose and plans for our life

So some storms are satanic, others are self inflicted  due to poor choices, bad decisions & a lack of commitment to God's word and some storms are sent by God to bring about His plans and purposes but through it all, we are comforted to know
That in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.  Romans 8:28
This leads us to the topic of Divine Providence which means, whatever the storm and whatever the reason for the storm, God will work it out on the other side to fulfill His purposes. Through Divine Providence God will see to it that absolutely everything that needs to be done to bring about His purposes and Sovereign Will, will be done!
