2 Chronicle 5:14 The priests could not continue their service because of the cloud, for the glorious presence of the Lord filled the temple of God.
1 Corinthians 3:16 Do you not know that you are a temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?
This week's service took a different turn in that praise and worship was preeminent in that The Holy Spirit was leading Pastor Art to discard the program and allow worship to take it's course. This of course led to an abbreviated message in which the Spirit of the Lord exhorted us to make worship the cornerstone of our lives and a major weapon of our warfare against the wiles of the enemy.
Pastor Art citing a quote from Dr Myles Munroe, said , "Life without God’s presence was not His original plan for us. He designed us to know Him, living in close, intimate fellowship with Him. That’s why life is so difficult and unfulfilling for so many people. We are living without the one thing that is essential for our fulfillment and well-being. We are living without the continuous, enduring presence of God. Whenever you live without a vital, ongo ing relationship with God, you have no hope of finding true happiness or of fulfilling the purpose for which you were born. You simply cannot function properly and effectively outside the environment of God’s presence."
