Prospering in Times of Adversity

Teaching on prosperity and what's come to be know prosperity preaching are two entirely different things. The obvious abuses of those who preach prosperity for their own personal gain is just that, an abuse of the Word and a manipulation of scripture. However for centuries upon centuries and decades upon decades, the Body of Christ has been abused with the Poverty Gospel and somehow, not nearly the intensity of concern and interest has gone into exposing the false gospel doctrine of poverty and lack.  
This teaching focuses on what God has said in His Word about prospering, especially prospering in "Times of Adversity" showing us that despite what the world is going through, God has and always makes it possible for His people to prosper during times of adversity, the story of Joseph's rise to power being one very good example. The bible tells us, we should prosper in health and all things, even as our soul prosper 3 John 1:2 but what does it mean to have a prosperous soul?
