Promise, Compromise and High Places

Exodus 34:14 Do not worship any other god, for the LORD, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God.

    When we compromise The Word, We're not in agreement with The Word and therefore not in agreement with God. (Amos 3:3) Quite often we reduce our demands upon The Word and change our opinion regarding the truth of The Word, and thereby agree with friends, family so called experts or google. Compromise comes in many forms and like a serpent, is often very subtle.

     However, there should never be compromise on the essentials of our Christian faith, Things like the infallibility of the Word, The Gospel of the Kingdom, The Lordship and authority of Christ, personal convictions regarding our faith in Christ and moral issues as defined in the bible.
