JEREMIAH 17:7-8
But blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD, whose confidence is in Him
they are like trees planted along a riverbank, with roots that reach deep into the water. Such trees are not bothered by the heat or worried by long months of drought. Their leaves stay green, and they never stop producing fruit.
In the Bible trees symbolize life, growth, fertility and stability, reflecting the abundant blessings and fruitfulness that God has woven into all creation. Trees provide the entire framework for God’s plan of redemption, from Genesis to Revelation and throughout the Bible believers are exhorted to be rooted and grounded, branches attached to the vine, bearing leaves that do not wither and fruit it's season. Furthermore God is the vine keeper, pruning us to cultivate fruitful growth causing us to be a crown in His hand!
Since God said we would be like trees, He did so for very good reasons, so let's see what we can learn from today's teaching about our Christian walk and being Like a Tree
Growing our inner man as we connect with God's Word
