JEREMIAH 17:
7 But blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD, whose confidence is in Him
8 They are like trees planted along a riverbank, with roots that reach deep into the water. Such trees are not bothered by the heat or worried by long months of drought. Their leaves stay green, and they never stop producing fruit.
Famine is a climatic condition of no food & therefore no nourishment
Drought is a climatic condition where there is no water or nourishment
Spiritual dryness produces spiritual famine, a condition where people lack the bread of heaven and the water of life, the nourishment that only comes from Jesus
We ourselves appear to be living in such a time and there are times when it appears to be hopeless but that's according to the wisdom of men and human reasoning but in God's way of seeing things, this is the best time, because the glory of God shines brightest in the darkness.
It is in time's like these where God's grace, His love and glory shines the brightest and these are the times when Jesus does His best work & makes the impossible possible. It is in times like these where the bible tells believers, we are like trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, in other words what began as a seed of faith sown in adverse conditions has now blossomed into a beautiful tree...that's you and me.
God's word from the beginning to the end speaks of how we as believers are comparable to trees,
Lets see what the word of God has to say
Growing our inner man as we connect with God's Word
