God's Greatest Gift is Rest

Matthew 11
28 "Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy-laden, and
I will give you rest.
29 Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and
you will find rest for your souls

Unrest resulted from The Fall, it was when Adam fell that unrest came upon mankind. The curses God spoke over Adam and Eve were curses of labor, toil  and unrest.  This is why all throughout scripture, old testament to new,  in virtually every book, God is expressing His desire to restore mankind to a place of rest

Hopefully, this message will help us to appreciate the rest  we have been given in Christ Jesus because outside of Jesus, there is no rest
