Every Good and Perfect Gift

2 Peter 1:3
His divine power has given us everything we need for life and godliness through the knowledge of Him who called us by His owna glory and excellence.

It's one thing to know about a person and another thing to know the person. You can know about a celebrity but that doesn't mean you know them 
As believers, we want to do more than know about God, We want to know Him. If we want to know God and we should... the, Holy Bible, The Word of God is the highest authority, we can turn to for understanding His Character, His Will and His Nature. 
The Bible is God's love letter to mankind because, as many of us know, the more we learn about God, the more we learn about ourselves. The better we know God, the better we know ourselves because He is our Maker and the one thing we all need to know is that His intentions toward us are good and not of evil and in that regard, He's given us every good gift and perfect gift and everything we need for our journey through this world.
