Enjoying the Journey - Part I

God interceded for mankind taking on the responsibility of fixing Adam's mistake and restoring mankind back to Himself, back to His original intent of having a family with people, like himself, with whom he could love, fellowship and commune with as His very own children. 
The enemy has been defeated, Jesus took the keys of death, hell and the grave and the battle against Satan has been won, so the question is, what is our purpose, why are we here and what is God trying to accomplish with us.
The simple answer is, God is preparing and developing us for life eternity in His presence. In other words, through the testing of our faith, God is working within us to help us work out our salvation, to grow us, perfect us to conform to the image and likeness of Jesus, the first-born of many brothers and sisters. 
We're on a journey through the land of God's promises and in His Word, God makes it clear, He wants us to enjoy the journey, through trials, tests, ups and downs, bumpy roads and crooked paths, we're supposed to be learning how to count it all joy, trust God and enjoy the journey of this thing called life.
